March Madness -- Let's Get Crazy
Since it is March Madness Time (that's the NCAA Basketball Tournament in case you have been hiding under a rock) let's continue the "madness" with a magic theme of "Let's Get Crazy" and do some crazy magic.
Come and perform magic that is crazy or wacky. Use a crazy prop or weird patter.
Since this is basketball tournament time, magic with balls is encouraged.
This is mad hatter time so we would love to see magic with clock/time or rabbits. The possibilities are endless -- use your imagination and creativity.
As always, you can do whatever magic you like and teaching the trick that you perform to the group is encouraged, but optional.
Since we are a "hands-on" Club, just come and perform -- have FUN!

Theme - Arbor Day Magic
In April the world celebrates Arbor Day and so shall we.
This month we encourage you to perform a trick that represents a living thing-such as a botania (flowers), feathers (birds), hippity hop rabbits, etc.
Of course, if you don't have a trick that meets the above criteria, do whatever magic you like to do.
This should be a fun evening of magic where you can show your creativity.

Theme - Trifecta Magic
June celebrates Father's Day, Egg Day and Pudding Day. We couldn't pick one, so we are doing all three.
Last month we celebrated the ladies, so this month you can celebrate the men. You can do a trick with Kings (cards), stories about fathers, etc.
Egg Day magic could include silk to egg, egg bag routines, and MANY more.
Pudding Day magic could be... I'm excited to see what your imaginations will come up with. Let your imagination go wild!
You get bonus points if you do a trick that combines all three.
This should be exciting, imaginative and very creative evening of magic.

Theme - Red, White and Blue Magic
In honor of our Country's birthday, our theme for this evening is red, white and blue magic.
The obvious choice would be silks (patriotic silks, color changing silks, 20th Century silks, etc.).
But there are a lot more choices available like ropes, records (DVDs, etc.), and liquids to name a few.
Be creative and perform/teach your trick to the group.

Theme - Warren Hamilton Celebration
Our Club is named after Warren Hamilton and unfortunately he passed away September 23, 1971.
To celebrate his life, we encourage members to bring and perform (optional) a prop Warren Hamilton built, designed or performed.
Warren built many props such as JoAnne the Card Duck, Yogi Bear, etc.
Warren was a perfectionist and destroyed props he made that were not perfect in his eyes. He was such a perfectionist that he practiced a trick 500 times before he performed the trick for anyone.
If you don't have a Warren Hamilton prop, perform a trick that you have practiced (even if it wasn't 500 times) many times.
