Great News — MagicFest is returning March 7, 2020!!!!

The Warren Hamilton IBM Ring 175 will be hosting another terrific one day convention at the Lions Eye Institute in Tampa on Saturday, March 7, 2020 Our 2020 Convention Theme is “MAGICFEST – Taking it to the Streets!”.

We are happy to announce that Ryan Schlutz, Thomas Hayden, and Scott Humston are our featured lecturers.

Thomas Hayden

Thomas Hayden is a visual artist, writer, and magician who has performed for clients such as Nickelodeon, Playlist Live, Ernst & Young, Plain White T’s, and Happy Valley Beijing. His performances have taken him across his native New York City, to headlining at China’s largest amusement park twice in a row. An active magic consultant, his clients include America’s Got Talent, Gibson Guitars, Penn & Teller: Fool Us!, and MTV’s Scary-Ass Halloween. He is the author of the quintessential spook show magic book, “Blackout: The Comprehensive Guide To Scaring”, and the soon to be released book, “Progressions”. Bringing his unique performance style to Tampa, he is the co-creator and performer of Thirteen Atrocities: Are You Superstitious? Which will be playing Friday, March 13th at Stageworks Theatre.

Scott Humston

Scott Humston is a full time illusionist, speaker, and evangelist who overcame a speech related birth defect and now devotes his life to the art of educating through entertainment. Scott holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and Dramatic Art and has been awarded numerous professional and community awards for his work. Most recently, Scott can be seen on a weekly television show called “Now You See It” on the BBC in the United Kingdom, which had 5 million viewers on its first episode. Come see Scott – his humor, his magic, and his inspirations!

Ryan Schlutz

Ryan Schlutz is best known for “moveless” magic capable of fooling experienced magicians. Ryan’s well-choreographed subtleties and carefree style leave witnesses with a feeling of astonishment. He is the author of “Making the Cut” and his signature brand of magic has been featured in DVD titles such as “Miracles Without Moves”, “Effortless Effects”, and “Only Slightly Sleighty”.

MagicFest will be held at the Tampa Eye Institute, 1410 N. 21st St., Tampa, Florida (near the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City). Doors will open at 8:30AM and the Convention will end at 5:30 PM. Early registration is ONLY $40 on-line at
